Unique opportunity for choral conductors : 5th Eric Ericson Masterclass
with masters of conducting Jos van Veldhoven and Stephen Cleobury.
June 26 – July 3 2009 in Haarlem, The Netherlands
 
You’re a conductor. You want to get on. You have your dreams…..
And then suddenly you’re conducting the Nederlands Kamerkoor! And during the same week the Netherlands Radio Choir too!
 
The 5th Eric Ericson Masterclass in Haarlem in The Netherlands will be an intensive 8-day course for talented young choral conductors, given by 2 masters of conducting and in collaboration with 2 leading professional choirs. Mr. Ericson gave his name to the masterclass and is its patron, but will not himself  be participating. The 4 previous masterclasses were scintillating, inspiring and impressive.
We are therefore very pleased to be able to announce the 5th Eric Ericson Masterclass. Between 26 June and 3 July 2009  8 conductors will be given the chance to benefit from the knowledge and experience of  Jos van Veldhoven (NL) and Stephen Cleobury (UK), 2 conductors who operate at the highest level.
 
The Masterclass is also open to observers, between 29 June and 3 July. They will be required to apply to attend.  Sections of the Masterclass are open to the public. The Masterclass will be conducted in English.
